Install and Activate Tech Dragon Mail Conduit

This guide covers how to install and activate Tech Dragon Mail Conduit and what should already be in place before you begin.

Before you install

Tech Dragon Mail Conduit is a bridge between MailPoet and WordPress mail. For it to be useful, the site should already have:

• WordPress running normally;
• MailPoet installed and active;
• a WordPress mail-delivery or SMTP plugin already configured to handle wp_mail(); and
• administrator access to install and activate plugins.

Tech Dragon Mail Conduit does not replace your SMTP or mail-delivery plugin and does not store its credentials.

Install Tech Dragon Mail Conduit Free

1. Obtain the Tech Dragon Mail Conduit Free package from the official Tech Dragon / Freemius checkout.
2. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin.
3. Select the Tech Dragon Mail Conduit ZIP file and click Install Now.
4. When installation completes, click Activate Plugin.

Install Tech Dragon Mail Conduit Pro

Tech Dragon Mail Conduit Pro includes the same functional bridge plus diagnostics, monitoring, troubleshooting tools, and direct support.

1. Complete the Tech Dragon Mail Conduit Pro checkout and download the Pro package provided through Freemius.
2. Upload and install the ZIP from Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin.
3. Activate Tech Dragon Mail Conduit.
4. When prompted by Freemius, activate the license for the site.

After activation

Tech Dragon Mail Conduit should identify the MailPoet-to-WordPress mail path and expose its current operational state. The Free edition provides the bridge and its required safety mechanisms. Pro adds tools such as Test My MailPoet Stack, Bridge Setup Check, Send Path Inspector, Configuration Drift Detection, and Bridge Health Monitoring.

Do not change your downstream SMTP credentials merely because Tech Dragon Mail Conduit was installed. Tech Dragon Mail Conduit is designed to use the WordPress mail path that your existing mail-delivery plugin already owns.
