Privacy, Data Flow, and What Tech Dragon Mail Conduit Does Not Store
Tech Dragon Mail Conduit sits in an email-delivery path, so it is important to understand what data passes through it, what it preserves for the handoff, and what it is not designed to retain.
Message data that passes through the bridge
For supported MailPoet messages, Tech Dragon Mail Conduit may handle the message details necessary to convert and hand the message to WordPress mail. The supported preservation model includes details such as:
- HTML and plain-text message content;
- sender information;
- reply-to information;
- content type;
- recipient information required for delivery; and
- supported unsubscribe headers and related message metadata.
SMTP and provider credentials
Tech Dragon Mail Conduit is not an SMTP transport and is not designed to store your SMTP password, provider API key, or other downstream mail credentials. Those remain in the mail-delivery plugin or provider integration that owns transport.
Operational and diagnostic data
The Free edition exposes only the operational state needed to use the bridge safely. Tech Dragon Mail Conduit Pro adds diagnostic and monitoring features such as bridge health, path inspection, configuration drift detection, and bounded recent-issue summaries.
Recent Bridge Issues is intentionally described as a bounded, privacy-conscious summary rather than a general-purpose mail log. Diagnostic tooling should not be treated as a permanent archive of message content.
Freemius licensing and product services
Tech Dragon Mail Conduit uses Freemius for product licensing, checkout, update entitlement, and related product services. Freemius may process licensing/account or diagnostic information according to the choices presented by the SDK and its own privacy terms. This is separate from the MailPoet message handoff itself.
Downstream systems
After Tech Dragon Mail Conduit hands a message to WordPress wp_mail(), your mail-delivery plugin and provider may log or process message, recipient, delivery, and diagnostic data according to their own configuration and privacy policies.
Site-owner responsibility
Site owners remain responsible for configuring MailPoet, WordPress, the downstream mail plugin, their provider, retention policies, and privacy disclosures in a way that is appropriate for their users and legal obligations.
See The Tech Dragon's Privacy Policy and Terms & EULA for the website and product-service terms.
