Enable Turnstile on a Supported Divi Form
Tech Dragon Divi Turnstile Nexus lets you choose protection form by form. This guide shows how to enable Turnstile on a supported Contact Form or Email Optin module.
Supported forms
Tech Dragon Divi Turnstile Nexus 1.2.0 supports:
- Divi 4 Contact Form
- Divi 4 Email Optin
- Native Divi 5 Contact Form
- Native Divi 5 Email Optin
Legacy Divi 4 Contact Form or Email Optin modules embedded inside Divi 5 are not supported. Rebuild or migrate them as native Divi 5 modules.
Before enabling a form
Confirm:
- Tech Dragon Divi Turnstile Nexus is active.
- The Cloudflare site key and secret key are saved.
- The Turnstile configuration has passed the verification test.
- You are editing a supported Divi form surface.
Enable Turnstile
- Edit the page or Theme Builder layout containing the form.
- Open the Contact Form or Email Optin module.
- Open the module's Spam Protection controls.
- Turn on Divi's Spam Protection service option if it is not already enabled.
- Choose Cloudflare Turnstile / Tech Dragon Divi Turnstile Nexus.
- If Divi asks you to choose an account, select Tech Dragon Divi Turnstile Nexus.
- Save the module and the page or Theme Builder layout.
The exact controls differ slightly between Divi 4 and Divi 5, but in both cases you are telling that specific form to use Turnstile in Divi's Spam Protection settings.
New forms default off
Creating another Contact Form or Email Optin later does not automatically enable Turnstile.
This is intentional. Protection is chosen per form.
Bulk enable for existing forms
For sites with many eligible existing forms, Settings → Tech Dragon Divi Turnstile Nexus can provide a bulk-enable action after the current credentials have been successfully verified.
The bulk option:
- changes eligible forms that already exist;
- does not turn Turnstile on automatically for future forms;
- skips forms it cannot safely identify or update;
- leaves forms that are already protected alone; and
- keeps unrelated Divi module settings intact.
Check the inventory
After saving a form, open Settings → Tech Dragon Divi Turnstile Nexus and review the protection inventory.
Use the inventory to confirm that the form now shows as protected.
The inventory may include forms stored in normal page content as well as relevant Divi Theme Builder layouts.
Test on the front end
Do not rely only on Visual Builder appearance.
Open the published page and submit the form as a visitor would. Confirm that the form completes normally and that the expected email or subscription is processed.
Using an older Divi 4 form on Divi 5
If the inventory reports an unsupported legacy Divi 4 form on a Divi 5 site, do not try to force-enable it through bulk enable.
Rebuild that module as a native Divi 5 Contact Form or Email Optin, configure Turnstile on the new module, and retest.
